Everyone knows how to make a great dessert, or maybe at least how to order a great dessert. But I have a recipe for an amazing and delightful dessert that everyone in the family will love. My sweet and delicious Angel food Tiramisu cake will leave you wanting more. The first step is to gather all the ingredients for the cake. The ingredients include 2 containers of vanilla pudding, 2 containers of mascarpone cheese; softened, 1/4 cups of marsala wine, 1 container of cool whip, 2 tablespoons of espresso powder, cocoa powder, and a store brought angel food cake. Begin by combining the pudding, mascarpone, and 2 tablespoons of marsala in a large bowl. Then chill the bowl in the refrigerator until ready to use. Meanwhile on a rimmed baking sheet, combine warm water, sugar, espresso powder, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of marsala. To assemble, cut the angel food cake horizontally into fourths. Next dip both sides of the bottom cake layer into the espresso mixture and place on a serving plate. Then top the cake with one-quarter of the mascarphone mixture. Repeat with the remaining cake layers and the remaining mascarphone mixture. Next using a pastry brush, brush any remaining espresso mixture on the sides of the cake. At last garnish the top of the cake with a dusting of cocoa powder. This is a great dessert for any occasion and is perfect for a holiday christmas party.
